We encourage all patients to attend the surgery with their Health Problems as we have better facilities to examine, investigate and treat you if required. However, if you are housebound or too ill to attend the surgery, you may request a home visit. Please call 01594 562 437, (option 1) before 10am to do so.

All requests for home visits are triaged by a Doctor. A home visit request does not guarantee a same day visit.

Our Reception Team are trained to ask you for some information about your health problem to help the triaging Doctor decide how best to deal with it. The Doctor may choose to treat you by telephone or video call or refer you to another healthcare professional e.g. District Nurse or Health Visitor.

Home Visits are sometimes deferred to when the clinician that knows you best is working.
